Our modern society tends to foster a separation from ourselves, our community, nature, and spirit. The ancient practice of shamanism teaches us about the interconnected web of life. This experiential workshop will include a short lecture, ritual, sacred objects, drumming, and intention so we can learn how to create sacred space for us to connect with spirit and each other. We will then experience the value of sacred space as a preparation for the stepping between the two worlds of ordinary reality and the spirit world with the practice of shamanic journeying to live drumming. Bring a drum or rattle if you have one.
